The MMLA is headed by an Executive Committee supported by several Sub-Committees where topical issues are addressed.
This structure allows us to draw on the expertise of key professionals within the Malta shipping community. The Sub-Committees also act as a point of reference for the legal community where any issues arising can be discussed and amendments to the national legislation or to international legal instruments are drafted.
As of April 2026, the MMLA has 181 members.
